Facilities & Rates	Reservations Blue Heron Campground is open year round. Facilities are available by reservation or on a first-come basis. RV sites, tent sites, lodging and guided fishing can be reserved by phone or by visiting the campground. For camping and lodging, half of your payment is required to reserve with the balance due upon registration. For fishing trips, half of your payment is required to reserve, and the balance is due 14 days prior to your arrival. We may be contacted by phone at 870-453-GoRV (4678). Cancellations RV sites, tent sites, camper cabin, canoe/kayak rental - $15 cancellation fee. No refund less than 14 days prior to arrival. Riverview Suite - $50 cancellation fee. No refund less than 30 days prior to arrival. Guided Fishing - $50 cancellation fee if cancelled more than 14 days prior to arrival. No refund if cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival. Registration Please register at the office before occupying a camp site. If a staff person is not on duty, you may choose a vacant site that is not reserved and an attendant will register you later. No more than two structures are to occupy a camp site and these must be parked on the gravel pads provided. Let us know if you need additional parking space. At least one adult (18 or older) must register for and occupy the campsite during the entire registration period. Payment is due upon registration. We accept cash, personal checks, traveler’s checks, Visa or MasterCard. Day Use and Parking The fee for day use guests is $5 each. All guests must register with and pay the attendant upon arrival. A parking pass will be issued and it must be displayed on the dash of the vehicle. Pets We enjoy your well-behaved pets. Please keep them leashed and do not leave them unattended when they are outdoors. Pet litter must be cleaned up immediately. It must be wrapped in paper or bagged and deposited in a trash can. RV Sites No more than 2 structures per site, including vehicles, and all structures must be parked on the gravel pads. Additional parking areas are available if needed. Just let us know what you need. Please do not park on the grass. We want you to thoroughly enjoy your time with us but we need your cooperation to maintain an attractive lawn. Since items like mats, floored or sided shelters, etc. will kill the grass when used for more than a day or so, please check with us before using them. Tent Camping Tents are to be pitched above the high water mark and they must be shifted every third day to preserve the lawn in those areas. There is a two tent and a six person maximum for tent sites. We have tents to rent and firewood for sale. All fires must be small and contained within a fire ring or grill. Fires may be prohibited during particularly dry periods. Your Guests All guests are to register at the office. Anyone who will be using Blue Heron grounds and/or facilities, and is not a registered overnight guest, is expected to pay a day use fee of $5 per person. If you will be entertaining several visitors, out of consideration for neighboring campers, we ask that you reserve the riverside patio for your gathering. In this case, the day use fee will apply.
